Working with a Team Coach can help improve team performance, provide an opportunity to reflect and evaluate the current position of the team and future direction for the team to thrive and grow.

Team coaching helps teams to work collectively to improve productivity, participation, and performance within an organisation. It helps individuals interact and engage with each other, enhance relationships, develop stronger unity with leadership, clarity and renewed mind-sets within the team.

An external team coach can support teams to:

  • Adjust team mind-set
  • Improve relationships
  • Facilitate and engage in conversations that may wish to be avoided
  • Create and build trust, openness and transparency for the safety and well-being of individuals.


Team Coaching has the capacity to impact on:

  • Leadership and other stakeholders working collectively
  • Teams looking to improve working relationships
  • Supporting teams with change e.g. new team, restructuring (before and after)
  • Leadership teams executing a new initiative
  • Bring teams together from different locations


Team Coaching needs commitment from individuals within the team. Sessions for team coaching can be conducted over to 2-3 months.

The Process

Following an initial enquiry, Dulcie will take time to listen, discuss and understand what the desired objective is for Team Coaching for your organisation.

Here is an example of our Team Coaching process:

  • Meeting with the team to establish commitment and agreement in working together.
  • Team building exercises.
  • Interviews with team members/ assessments to identity teams strengths and weaknesses.
  • Team to discuss outcomes/goals that set the stage for change.
  • Team put together and reframe purpose, vision, goals, and agreement and how this will be measured.
